You may care to see that in 13 the Governor asked for approval of expenditure in connection with the salaries or certain teachers in the grant- aided schools for the purpose of bringing them into line with teachers of similar status in Government schools. It seems desirable from a political standpoint to make this change, the Educational Adviser supports the Governor's recommendation and the Treasury have agreed to the increased expenditure involved.
